Israel's Likud Party Urges Sanctions Against U.S.

"In a sign of growing concern in Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's government over US President Barack Obama's Middle East policies, Minister-without-Portfolio Yossi Peled proposed Israeli sanctions on the US in a letter to cabinet ministers on Sunday.

In the 11-page letter, obtained by The Jerusalem Post from a minister on Monday, Peled recommends steps Israel can take to compensate for the shift in American policy, which he believes has become hostile to Israel."


Peled added that faced with an American government with an activist agenda that does not mesh with Israel's, traditional reactions are no longer relevant. He said he expected that Obama would eventually realize that appeasement and dialogue with countries that support terror would not have positive results.

But in the interim, the minister suggests reconsidering military and civilian purchases from the US, selling sensitive equipment that the Washington opposes distributing internationally, and allowing other countries that compete with the US to get involved with the peace process and be given a foothold for their military forces and intelligence agencies

From the Uk to Turkey...People are asking..where are goods coming from because they don't want to buy Israeli produce and other products.

So let Israel sanction the US...then they will have no need for the $15 billion in aid we give them so that the thugs in the Congress who want to destroy our democracy while lining their bank accounts can launder public money and put it into the private coffers by requiring Israel to use that aid to buy US weapons.

I do hope Israel sanctions the US. What the fuck have they sold us that has brought us anything but trouble when it comes to intelligence. I hope the Israeli sanction includes taking the Mussad the fuck out of our country, out of our military and out of spying on our government.

I think this is where we cut off foreign aid and military support...permanently!!! If Israel can hang, then they can be a part of the Middle East...without our support or protection.

Unofficially, it will be bribe money from AIPAC, which is the second most powerful lobbying organization in Washington.

Isn't it interesting that a foreign government is permitted to lobby our legislative body? If AIPAC became the target of a serious investigation it undoubtedly would produce a major scandal that would send dozens of officials to prison for everything from ordinary bribery to ongoing espionage.
