Where would you seat Obama in there?
Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for a night.
Set a man on fire and he'll be warm the rest of his life.

Obama is not a past President, he is the current President.

There are several people from the past in this painting:
    Thurgood Marshall
    Rosa Parks
    Shirley Chisholm
    Abraham Lincoln
    FDR
    JFK

I saw this at a framing store earlier today. I couldn't recognize anybody else in the crowd, but I'm sure there are more people depicted.

Is there a larger version available?

Not that I have been able to find that is not copy protected. This painting is new, I suspect there will be sites where the pic is larger and not copy protected.

Certainly not next to Woodrow Wilson who thought the kukluxclan was a really good organization. I'm just saying...the Dems have the paramount history as the party of racism, institutionalized racism, etc until what I call, The Great Split in the 60's, which was thwarted by the wage freeze in 1973. Corporations at it again. Thom Hartman hit the nail on the head...the Missouri Compromise was the beginning of the end ol individual liberty, freedom and the individual pursuit of happiness.

I liken slave labor to a corporate bottom line equal to heroin addiction. Corporations are addicted to the notion that low wages promotes free markets and quells civil unrest. Since when were the poor ever civilly rested? It's hard to relax when your children are starving.

You must be talking about this group, those that where much, much worse (except for Lincoln) to the poor and the downtrodden, and those who loved corporations :

Teddy, Ike and Abe wouldn't be any where near the others! They are rolling over in their graves.

    I stand corrected, CG.

I am enthralled by these paintings. i hope to find a smaller print for $50 or so to frame. The Republicans is sold out, the Dems cost $489 sale priced, regularly priced at $550 - without frames, but they are large, maybe 3' x 1.5'. Obama's is $150.00, but there have been 12,009 prints made (corresponding to his 1/20/09 inauguration date).

Nixon couldn't be elected as a Republican in this day and age; he'd be viewed as too liberal.
