That's a new one to me. There's a pair of swans in the canal that runs along the bike path, my dogs and I walk. I guess I should be careful around them.

I've actually known about this phenomenon for a while now. The method a swan takes to protects it's eggs is to leap up to an animal's head or face and beat its wings as fast as possible. A swan's wingspan is so enormous that when it beats its wings fast enough it literally creates a vacuum that disorients and eventually suffocates the animal it attacks. Swans can be very dangerous, and this is by no means the first time someone's been killed by one.
[Romney's] vision of humanity is just a million tons of meat floating around in a sea of base calculations. Heís like a teenager who stays up all night thinking of a way to impress the prom queen, and what he comes up with is kicking a kid in a wheelchair. Instincts like those are probably what made him a great leveraged buyout specialist, but in a public figure? Man, is he a disaster. Itís really incredible theater, watching the Republicans talk themselves into this guy.

Breeding season. Be careful around these guys. I've been chased by a goose and had to beat it off with an umbrella

Some hearty knaves and simple fools,
    Some apish and pragmatic mules,
    Some servile acquiescing fools,
    These, these comprise a congress.

When Jove resolved to send a curse,
And all the woes of life rehearse,
Not plague, not famine, but much worse,
He cursed us with a congress.

Wow! We also have swans and geese right down the road where I walk my dog. I have heard that swans can be very nasty birds!

I guess the good thing for me is it would most likely be one against three . My dogs weigh 76 and 99. Together we have 10 legs. That's 10 against two. LOLClick here to enlarge
