Former President Bush and Administration Guilty of War Crimes

Last week, in a trial held in Kuala Lumpur, former US President George W. Bush and several of his key administration members were convicted of war crimes.

The tribunal was led by retired Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. After the guilty verdict reached by five senior judges was delivered, Mahathir Mohamad said: “Powerful countries are getting away with murder.”

After a week filled with testimony, personal statements and deliberations, the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission, a five-person panel announced their guilty verdict. This verdict will be filed with the Commission’s Register of War Criminals to be made public record.

Among George W. Bush were named:

• Dick Cheney, former Vice President
• Donald Rumsfeld, former Secretary of Defense
• Legal advisors: Alberto Gonzales, David Addington, William Haynes, Jay Bybee and John Yoo

During the trial, witnesses gave accounts of torture carried out by US soldiers and contracted mercenaries in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Dennis Kucinich opts out of Washington state race, will retire

Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich announced Wednesday he has decided against running for Congress in Washington state, where activists had urged him to launch a campaign. In a statement, Kucinich signaled the end of his 16-year congressional career:

Because of my love of public service, I have given a great deal of time and much thought to the advice and encouragement I have received from so many people of good will in Washington State. I certainly want to continue to be of service to our country and to the working men and women who have built it.

After careful consideration and discussions with Elizabeth and my closest friends, I have decided that, at this time, I can best serve from outside the Congress. My commitments to peace, to workers' rights and to social and economic justice are constant and are not dependent upon holding an office.

With 3 weeks to go before the recall election, Walker's money is starting to kick serious ass against Dem candidate Barrett. Here's the real choker. The Dems in Wis has been calling on the DNC to send some money in order to help with this battle .... for a long time and still ..... no word back from them. So, what the hell .... is the Dem Party just gonna let this opportunity to bounce the fascist Koch Bro asshole Gov slip by allowing the shithead to pull this one out after all the trouble of getting this recall in motion??!!!

Another Poll Shows Walker Ahead in Wisconsin

A new Marquette Law School Poll in Wisconsin shows that with three weeks to go until the recall election Gov. Scott Walker (R) has taken a six point lead over Tom Barrett (D), 50% to 44%, among likely voters.

Three weeks ago, Walker's lead was just one point.

For the 3rd yr in a row, Obama's budget gets smoked 99-0!! Yes folks, that means not one Dem voted yes. Obama has said that he'll not put up with these guys doing this anymore. His warning has been sent out ...... now, will he back his words up?!!
