Jay Rockefeller is on hardball. He says Obama has to be honest with the American people. In the address tonight Obama has to focus on health care. Bobby Jindal thinks the economic stimulus will fail because it has too much spending in it.

Howard Dean is on. He is discussing Obama's health care program. Americans will be able to choose from about 15 different plans including medicare. The insurance companies are against including medicare in the program because it will cut into their profits.

I hope Jindal does turn down the whole thing....not because I want to see people suffer, which they def will, but because I want to see his political career go down the shitter. He is a dangerous punk.

Mathews is discussing Murdock's apology for the cartoon depicting Obama as a chimpanzee. The NY post has a tabloid quality to it and Murdock was expected to apologize. Mudock did not want to be associated with a racist cartoon.

The newspaper industry has weakened so they cannot afford to alienate anymore readers.

I tuned in. Matthews gets it about the cartoon.... he mentioned the macaca incident. He was right on in his comparison.

Durbin wants Burris to quit. Mathews and Buchanan think that is unprecidented. They also said that for the first time in american history a black man will be the main character in the address tonight with the white man-Biden- standing in the background.

I don't believe that.

I think they're saying that in order to increase their Gov't funded (read, taxpayer funded) subsidies...

They can't wait to have a GUARANTEED monthly check come from Uncle Sam...

Again... any universal coverage will ultimately take a shape similar to Medicare Part D.
