Senator Hillary Clinton ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), just back last week from a trip to Iraq, reiterated her support for a bill that put a ceiling on US troop levels in Iraq and heavily criticized Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

Clinton, a presidential hopeful, told CNN in an interview broadcast Sunday that the US government should threaten to cut funding for Iraq's forces to prod Baghdad into stepping up its efforts to control raging sectarian violence.

Asked if she thought Maliki could bring security back to Iraq, Clinton said "I don't have any faith" that he can.

While Clinton has refused to use congressional financial authority to pressure the Bush administration, she said it should be applied on the Iraqi government.

Dammit Hillary, get some muh f'in

Anyone who says differently is badly mistaken.

The attempt to clarify the Democratic position as being anti war is entirely correct.
