i wonder if any of these are legit; however, i'm not willing to "imbibe", so i guess i'll never know.

Many of these videos are around from cell phones.

I read in the press that there was a crowd.

I personally don't do snuff films, so I'll leave the legit part to you with stronger stomachs.

i did the nicholas berg beheading, b/c it was an obvious fake, and i wanted to see firsthand the lack of skills our military has wrt multimedia presentations.

the question for me is - is there any way to avoid it? i've already seen more "suggestive" pics on the subject than i want to see.

Don't open threads on message boards that are about it? don't click on the links? don't watch tv? I dunno...only you choose what you see. I myself have seen NO video of the Sadam hanging because I have chosen not to.

i wasn't asking for advice. the obvious point i made is, it's pervasive. "choosing" to discuss politics, or "choosing" to watch the news, is not "choosing" to view the hanging, but it looks like there may be no avoiding it.

It's not a fake.
Surprised our media in this country is already showing it.
Of course they have been too busy covering the distracton of the Ford wake.
I did see some film of it this AM on "Meet The Press".

So what we have seen since the capture, trial and execution of Saddam is the reason that Hitler committed suicide and didn't want to be paraded in a cage.

Remember how Murdoch ran pics of Saddam in his underwear on the frontpages of the NY Post?

I refuse to let the media tell me what to think about all this.
