I know you aren't responsible for this ad.
In fact, I know you'd see through this immediately. I'm petitioning your high standards to request that someone in the Office if we can we kill that nasty, nasty bit of BigPharm terror advertising in that "Cancer is the next Plague: get off yer ass & get healthy" campaign.
that is offensive, alarmist & downright CREEPY BIGPHARM PROPAGANDA.
yes, these are genuine concerns.
yes, these are suitably "holy shit" concerns.
but let me ask you: why are so many people CANCERED?
from where is this money coming?
BigChem? BigPharm? who the hell knows. That's not the problem. thought it does make me wonder if they subsidize it so they can hold it up as 'good corporate citizenship' when they get their biosphere-polluting asses hauled in for what they've got away with for 100 years...
though it does make me wonder. you should.
MY PROBLEM is that it is virtually WORSE than any Terror Alert.
RUN FLEE TO YOUR DOCTOR FOR MEDS!!!
let's be honest, all these things start with a trip to the doctor... which statistically speaking will lead to specific chronic pharmaceutical prescriptions.
okay, we all recognize who the Ad Council ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) IS ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), but...
... because North Americans are more likely to ask for a MED than a new lifestyle. The Ad Council does wonderful work, I can't agree more heartily: we get some of it in Canada, too. I remember the Crying Indian campaign ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).
:party0016[1]:
at the very least, let's not do it with a full screaming siren.
something more WHOLESOME to society could be useful, couldn't it?
Don't suppose you could mention this to The CuffLinkBoiz?
