The major issues would be cost, safety, etc. Thanks.Jerr, I can be a huge help to you, I'm very familiar with nuclear physics and nuclear engineering. I'm not a pro but I'm an engineer in electronics, with the math training, so I can speak sensibly about safety issues. I can talk about designs and their cost considerations. And I can talk about what actually goes on inside a reactor, and what the effects of a leak are, and what a catastrophe would involve and how likely one is. As it happens I'm also a physics groupie so I keep up on that side of things too.

I'm obviously damn near a year late on this, but let me know if I can help. You have my permission to dig my email address out of the system and email me, I think you might be able to with just the system without having to go to that much trouble. Let me know.
