Here ya all go... deck the halls with revolvers! :confused0062[1]:

I don't mean to be a fence sitter on this one, but I believe this is strictly an individual's choice with how one wishes to decorate their tree. Myself, I'd not sport the pistol packin' ornament on the tree if I were in a family way. If it were in a war zone, I'd hang all sorts of 'blasters' in the ole bunker. If young and single, I'm sure it would seem like a different and cool idea to hang these on the tree.

So what do you think gun packin' DWers. Good ...bad... right... wrong???

Nothing says Christmas quite like a glittery black handgun hanging from the tree.

Urban Outfitters Inc. - no stranger to controversial products - is offering the 5-inch-long, Chinese-made gun ornament for $6 in its stores and catalogs this year.

"Bust a cap in your tree with this superglittery ornament in the shape of a handgun, complete with a satin ribbon for hanging," the online description of the revolver says. It is meant, the retailer says, as an "ironic twist" on the holidays.

"Twisted" is more like it, said Kate Philips, Gov. Rendell's spokeswoman. "The governor doesn't find it humorous or clever to display weapons that are responsible for taking hundreds of lives each year as if they are decorations," she said.

Sick people out there.

This is a season about peace and caring.

A gun ornament on a tree says the owner is a violent person.
This is far beyond toy guns for kids to play with too.

101Scout, have no problem at all with that ornament. In fact it gave me a good idea for my S&W snub nose.

What about the video games kids get. They are not all bought by republican parents. Wooden trains and coal in the stocking are things of the past.

Not as much as 'let's go murder someone FOR a playstation 3'.

Now, that's some Christmas joy! :anim_puke:

Not my thing Scout. I ain't hanging handguns on my tree. while I think anyone who does is a little strange, to each his own. One of my strange friends in college decorated her tree with tampons and empty birth control containers.

Hahahaha, no shit!

Xmas morning -

"Daddy, daddy, I just beat an old woman to death who was crossing the street with a basball bat! That game is so cool!"

"Well, junior, did you remember to rifle through her things after she was dead?"

"Gosh, no daddy. I forgot what you said about that already. Why would I do that, again?"

"Well, heh heh, ya just might look in her purse. You never know, ya just might find a power up or something. Maybe a pistol, or some 'easy money'. Then you wouldn't need that bat."

"Oh, yeah! Gee, thanks, daddy!"

"Sure, junior, sure. Oh, and before I forget, turn the realism levels to high. You'll get to see more blood spattering that way."

"Oh wow!"

"Dick, ya know, I've been thinking. Do you think it's a good idea to let junior play that game so much?"

"Well, Carol, heh heh, it can't hurt. Besides, one is never too young to learn that life is hard. It's a 'dog eat dog' world out there, ya know."
