Don't under-estimate Cheney, Bush, the corporatists, and their media; and don't over-estimate Dem power over the lame duck. A lame duck can be like a cornered animal, and Dems need to break their habit of just "layin' down."

I'm hoping the Dems are just talking nice through the end of the year when they will then pull out the big guns and baseball bats and go after the MFs at full speed. If they do anything less than that, they may have lost me.

I think there are more Congressional members who need to be put out on the street in 08. The job is only half done. Lindsay Graham comes to mind among others. I hope the Democrats go in with baseball bats and knock some sense into their thick skulls.
