You know, Lila, I saw this just before the show started here on the West Coast, and I assumed you were referencing some casual joke. Now I know better.

Y'all should be aware of this. In gravely serious tones, and amid some ludicrous platitudes, Chris Matthews actually and LITERALLY said he wants very much to be a Senator. It's all about the public service, don't you know.

If that doesn't tighten up the sphincter, not much will.

Matthews also said Hillary is appearing on Colbert, and won't appear on his show - Stephen didn't confirm that, but if it's true, I hope he doesn't go easy on her. She MAY be that desperate - that's Obama's demographic - Michelle Obama is on Colbert tonight.

If Hillary is truly going to go on, I hope she gets NAILED!
