No I don't think the democratic party will be bought off. Granted that the two parties are more similar in some ways than disimilar-but allow me to posit one question: If Al Gore had been elected POTUS in 2000 do you think he would have invaded Iraq? The answer shows a remarkable difference between the parties. Similarly, if VP Gore had been elected, do you think that here would have been the energy giveaways? There are some :git_r_done: remarkable differences between the parties and we need to understand that the fact that a party doesn't agree 100% with our views-doesn't mean that it is not worthy of support.
