View Full Version : Here's why the Board was wiped. There was no crash or hacking.

The update to V. 3.6 did not go well. So we had to wipe the server and start over again. Now, we do have many backups of the data, the problem is getting it restored to the server. I have some notices going out to my IT friends and maybe they can help. The data on this board WILL be restored at some point but I do not know when. Prehaps within four days or so. Thank you everyone for patience AND resiging up again!

So was it just a shit happens hiccup or is vBulletin software
just not as solid and admin friendly... as phpBB or even IPB?

phpBB is a pain in the ass. Hate it.

IPB is great and solid and good tech support.

I've never used this one before.

Glad it was not foul play. You know we are hear for your moral support. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for putting the board back together I know it must have been a pain in the dumpa to do it. Believe me though we appreciate it.
