It was a matter of time. Easy targets like most of what is on the Memorial Thread are going to be outdone by more focused and organized types.

You know what's funny? I am going to show my age here but I don't understand the need to troll a message board. I mean the cons have their boards and I don't troll it. I am pretty sure that their are boards for people to have "diiscussions" of politics from different view points too however I want the "companionship of fellow liberals.
. Maybe it's because I believe in free speech to much but I don't see the need to troll another party's message board. Hmm maybe I inadvertently answered my own question.

well, we can SIT here & preach to the CHOIR
or get out there & pound the STREETS where the REPUBLICANS prowl for the IDIOTS who don't do their homework.
think about it... I said EARLY THIS YEAR on the RRMB that there can be NO PROGRESS until the SOLDIERS FIND OUT THEY'RE BEING DUPED.
"what do the boots on the ground know?
this also applies to US AT HOME.
shit people, you had an PRIMARY in GEORGIA & only 20% showed up!!!

what does this tell you? we need to GET OFF OUR CHAIRS & GET CRACKING.
we MUST disseminate the FACTS & be as organized about it as the Republicans are getting...
for Truth & Honesty.

This is what I see as the new strategy in forums now. The Repukes have figured out how to almost look like Dems, Libs and Progressive in forums and then hang in their forums long enough to take over many member's thought process that eventually walks them over to their side. For those who smells them out, like some of us here have already, well... we get the ole... "You're not playing fair" battle cry shoved back in our face by out very own. "Oh, you're not being civil" and that then makes us the new bad gut. BULLSHIT! That's exactly what the NeoCons are working hard at now, tricking ppl into thinking that they are the good guys and they belong in your back yard! Those types I call Zell Miller. There's many operating in the Democratic party as well as many operating inside forums. It will take actions like what went down yesterday at AAR with Malloy that finally opens a lot of eyes up to what's going on behind the scenes. That is why the Revelations forum is here in DW..... to expose and express what we know is going on. AAR showed their ass big time yesterday. I say it's deeper than what 'damage control' info that will come out soon to cover for it. I say it's a bunch of executives who are working same as or along with Republicans that are simply leading the Progressive listeners of AAR down some tricky and slippery roads.
I stopped listening to Ed Shultz because he backed Hillary so much. He's smarter than that, so what gives? (I know he's with Clear Channel and not AAR). He's a proclaimed Progressive that smacks BushCo... yet he somehow finds NeoCons ok to support? See that's the problem with these so called Progressive radio shows... they are also catering to the NeoCons and drumming those messages into our heads on a daily basis. Understanding who all the enemy truly is will be when the Dems/Libs/Progressives gets their head out of their asses and outs these imposters and infiltrators and gear up the real deal movement to kick royal ass on these Bushwacking SOBs!
For the record the RR board is ok... some trolls.... but I feel that at times, they can be smacked when they deserve it. I also think that since they caused a huge amount of their membership to split, that they may have changed their 'ways and means' since that's happened. Why boards go sour like that I have no idea... because the end product ends up being that they lose over 50% of their membership

Thanks Zat, once in awhile it's nice to have a moment of clarity. :D

101scout, i am in total agreement with you. i have seen this evolve - but it's the "new sin" to call it out. i said in another thread about not being able to recognize liberal political thought or the lack of it - this is the open door they need. ed schultz is no progressive and should never be associated with the term. and what he is, is a mouthpiece for DLC democrats.
this is the tricky distinction. when i speak, i'm just a person who has differing views. if "progressives" went off some deep end tomorrow, i wouldn't have any problem criticizing or disassociating with them. what we battle, though, are people who are not speaking their personal mind, but intentionally reflect a party line. it's obvious from the very beginning as you talk with them, b/c they can't move off their points - and they don't reconsider, or address replies specifically. disagreeing with them has its cost; they start with personal attacks, then act like victims of your attention, so they can take to a mod later to discredit you. but they just "happen" to be preoccupied with everything the right is talking about; just "happen" to support everything the right supports (although they usually try to make it appear to be an exception); and just "happen" to be in every thread that's taking these talking points to task. after a while, the sum of their posts shows a very clear picture.

Republicans are outright dishonest in their approach. Like when Ben was suggesting earlier last month that they would claim to be whatever was necessary in order to strengthen their anemic arguments. Check out this one:

As a sign of my commitment to building a new stronger Log Cabin as the organization seeks a new head, I encourage you to attend a the Annual PAC Fundraiser for the club I founded (now nearly ten years ago), the Log Cabin Republican Club of Virginia. Help this great group elect inclusive Republicans to State and Local Office. Hmmm.
They suck at this independent, non-biased approach, I suppose.
A little delving into this site and you'll find they attack on talking point pretty much whenever called to act.
Are they real? Does it matter? The only reason anyone pays attention to this blog is because it's gay.
I have been banned on RRMB and probably AAR in general....I can't do a thing and I don't care.
