What is with the gray areas on the gun?
A petite .50 cal S&W 5-round revolver.
Near perfect except for the stock grip.

Me thinks to keep it small and strong
enough to handle a .357MAG round...
S&W uses stronger (unknown to me) material at
key points. So it doesnt end up looking like this:

A bit too much punishment for me! It has a Scandium alloy frame, and weighs 21 oz. empty....

The truly punishing part of the gun, is the price, its around $1,000 bucks. :cry[1]:
I can have a competent conceal carry piece for considerably less, and the .38 +P is quite effective in my Smith 642.

The current line of Taurus revolvers are just awesome. I used to think
S&W owned Taurus, until I finally read Taurus' company history. Nway
pretty much Taurus' whole line of Jframe revolvers make my Xmas list.
