Now Randi is pumping her board.
She mentions Manzo and talks about Libertas.
Must get getting a bit sparse over there.

Oh, it is.
But does she or even Manzo or Libertas have any real understanding of WHY?

You will have to give me updates, I'm listening to an audio about how to make ebay auctions more successful for work.

Yes she is. :p
You could have knocked me over with a feather on this one.:a050:
Maybe this will work. Maybe not.
Here is my reason why not.
Posters like myself are very self directed in creating posts. This is something that is at best an aquired affectation, but more likely some is in us that demands to express ourselves in this manner.
In short we are tough to replace.
Since I started to post on all boards, I put up about 9000 posts. This is not common. Posters like kynd, lil lady and others are uncommon if not rare.
I wish the best for Randi and her board. But they need to create a more positive environment if they want the board to get back.

I never told anyone to stop posting.
But when you hurt so very many people all at once... one really must expect some blowback.

and well said.
and Kynd, I never once heard you tell anybody to stop posting on Randi's board. You and probably everybody else here knows nobody can tell an old RRMB poster what to do.

and ain't that sad. Now she has to resort to whoring her board on her show.
She lost both a user and a listener with me.
It'll be awhile before I can return to listening to her.
But wtf, malloy gives me all I need to make it thru the day!

Lately I have been listening to some of the other programs that Ben archives on White Rose. I'd especially recommend Bob Kincaid and Lizz Brown.
Ah! Libertas gets an 'honorable mention' at the top of the show....
And for what? Posting info about the no fly lists. Bah! I could have done that in my sleep.
Their click throughs and postings are way off.

Weird. I don't think I've ever heard her mention anybody in particular on the board.
Sparse, yeah. It's almost funny. Ya can't herd cats together, but ya sure as hell can get them all to leave on thier own.
DOH! Somebody just said on the air "the finest message board" just this second.

Course not cause the only person who could ever post a good cat thread was madame feline herself. ME.

In all fairness to Randi, it has been a slow news week and most people take their vacations now or are in the process of gettin ready for school.

In all fairness to Randi, it has been a slow news week and most people take their vacations now or are in the process of gettin ready for school. I would like to say that I observed Randi making some references to her board this past week, and I noticed that they included more information than I usually hear ("this came from one of my board members, Libertas" and several mentions of Manzo and then the board).
I had not considered that it might be self-promotion, since Randi directs people to her site all the time anyway. Each time she mentions Change for Change, she directs people to the webpage. And she mentions the boards more often than the show's phone number.
I think I'm gonna write off the mentions of Manzo (it was his birthday Friday) and Libertas (who does post an awful lot and maybe Randi does read some of it) as outliers. Not indicative of any particular trend.
