This is horrible.
I wonder how many of these poor don't vote because they don't know how, or feel they can't?
I wonder how many of these poor vote Republican?
I wonder what would happen to all these people AND to the rest of us when there is a Republican majority in the U.S. House and Senate, a Republican President, and 40 of the 50 states with Republican-controlled state legislatures and Republican Governors?
Does N.U.'s thread on Fascism tell us what would happen? (thread here ([Only registered and activated users can see links](I-want-someone-to-please-tell-me-I-m-wrong)))

The sad part of this is that congress is unwilling to help as more americans fall into poverty. I hate to think what this country will be like in tens years from now.
It's not just Republicans is the problem. That bill passed the senate 87-13. I even posted the official vote tally from the House and Senate.
